Privacy policy
The Pick'em League is a private, commissioner-run NFL picks league. This policy explains the limited information the league application uses to operate standings, accept picks by email, and prepare league messages.
Information used
The application stores player names, email addresses, payment-status flags, picks, scores, used teams, double-down balances, and league history. It also accesses the commissioner's Gmail account after the commissioner separately authorizes Gmail access.
Google and Gmail data
Gmail access is used only to find league pick replies, associate replies with players and league threads, create commissioner-reviewed drafts, and send the individually addressed Wednesday opening emails initiated by the league automation. The application does not use Gmail data for advertising, profiling, or unrelated purposes.
Gmail refresh credentials are encrypted before database storage. Public league pages never expose email addresses, Gmail content, payment information, or unrevealed picks. Gmail data is not sold or shared with third parties except infrastructure providers required to operate the application.
The application's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Retention and deletion
Pick and scoring history may be retained as part of the league archive. Raw email reply content is retained only as needed for commissioner review and auditing. The commissioner can disconnect Gmail access by revoking the application in Google Account settings and can request correction or deletion of personal information.
Security and contact
Commissioner access is restricted to the configured Google account. The service uses encrypted transport in production, encrypted Gmail credentials, database access controls, and audited commissioner corrections. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
